2026/2027 SEASON – AGM PROPOSAL OUTCOMES

Following last night's AGM, below is a summary of the proposals and the outcomes agreed for the 2026/2027 season.

1. Lag Every Frame – Not Carried

No amendments will be made to the current ruling. The existing break format will remain.

2. Start Singles and Doubles Earlier – Carried

The Singles and Doubles competitions will start earlier in the season, allowing us to hold the Finals Nights earlier and avoid the main holiday period.

The Trebles competition will remain unchanged.

Please see the fixtures for the relevant competition dates.

3. Singles First Round Double-Header – Not Carried

No amendments will be made. The current format will remain.

4. Set Singles and Doubles Finals Dates – Carried

The Singles and Doubles competitions will now have set dates, as shown on the fixtures.

Both competitions will have the Semi-Finals and Final played on the same night at 6 Pockets.

If, for a valid reason such as a pre-booked holiday, you are unable to play on the set date, the affected match must be played before the scheduled Finals Night. The Final will still go ahead on the date shown in the fixtures.

5. Remove the Two-Leg Sunday Cup – Not Carried

No amendments will be made to the current setup.

6. Live Individual Draws – Carried

All Singles, Doubles and Trebles draws will now be conducted live.

Details of each live draw will be communicated beforehand.

7. Replace Normal Singles and Doubles – Carried

The Normal Singles and Doubles competitions, where matches are arranged between yourselves, will be replaced with a new competition.

Nige Wilby will be arranging the format and details, with more information to follow.

8. Cup Semi-Finals and Finals – Carried

The Cup Semi-Finals will now be separated from the Finals.

Sunday – Archers Cup

Wednesday – Solberg Cup

Both Semi-Finals will be played on the same night at 6 Pockets.

The Finals will then be played on a separate night, again at 6 Pockets.

Please see the fixtures for the relevant dates.

9. Dynaspheres Pro15 Balls – Carried

Teams will be allowed to use Dynaspheres Pro15 balls for league matches if both teams agree.

If both teams do not agree, the standard ball set must be used.

Thanks to everyone who attended the AGM and contributed to the discussions.

Please make sure you familiarise yourselves with the changes above ahead of the 2026/2027 season.
